*शैक्षणिक अर्हता तसेच अनुभव*
(i) Have ceased to be serving members of Armed Forces of the Union and who have held the rank of Major and above in the Army or rank equivalent therto in the Navy or in the Air Force;

(ii) Have adequate knowledge of Marathi so as to be able to speak, read and write the language with facility; Provided that, if an officer of the requisite rank is not available, an officer who has ceased to be a serving member of the Armed Forces of the Union and who has held rank of Lieutenant and above in the Army or an equivalent rank in the Navy or in the Air Force may also be considered.
